In this month’s Early Career Section of the Notices of the AMS, the editors compiled a collection of short Q&As with seven major institutes in the hope that Early Career readers might become better acquainted with some of the opportunities available. BIRS is one of the seven major institutes featured, and one of the only two institutes outside of the US, alongside with IHES (France).
